Considering NAET treatments

I am going to try a NAET treatment next week. A few of my friends have had successful results from NAET, so I thought I would give it a try. Along with my chronic lyme disease and many co-infections, I have a long list of food allergies. I have just started reading the book, "Say Good-Bye to Illness" by Dr. Devi S. Nambudripad and it is very interesting.

From the NAET website, "Many disorders (e.g., headaches, back aches, joint pains, addiction, PMS, indigestion, cough, body aches, etc.) are caused by undiagnosed allergies. Anyone tried NAET? What were the results?

I did it once for my seasonal pollen allergy, but it didn't do anything, most likely because she didn't have the allergens from our area. I do know of others who have eliminated allergies with it, but I'm not sure what all they had treated. I switched to another method of allergy that has helped me, except for that pollen allergy. I didn't have it at all last summer during the grass bloom and I guess it was a homeopathic treatment that stopped it. We'll see if it's still gone in June.

Great theory, but didn't work for me. Dr. N says it works for about 80-90% of people, so I guess I was one of the non-responders.

If you do try it, be sure to find a practitioner who is willing to do the real protocol and not one of the many shortcut versions. The shortcut versions do not work as well, or don't work at all. There's a practitioner finder here: naet.com/Patients/locator.aspx

I am currently in treatment also. It is to soon to tell though.
I agree with Razzle, you cannot do the short cut version!

I currently am cleared through the first 8 allergens. It is a long process
I planed on posting my results after completion.

Good luck with your treatment's.

I did extensive NAET almost twenty years ago. I was infected with Lyme at the time but didn't know it so I got mixed results. I felt 95% better after completing the treatments, but that last 5% was still devastating so I didn't consider it a complete success. Had I known about the Lyme, maybe the practitioner could have helped with those last few symptoms, idk.

So for me, it worked well for what I knew to treat and I felt mostly fantastic for the following 5 years. I was migraine free, allergy free, energetic and strong.
Do they treat for Lyme?
