cold and lyme symptoms

Hello. I have a bad cold and I feel like my lyme symptoms are here again. I have shooting pains in my legs and joint pains/cramps. Can one bought of sickness bring my Lyme back? The shooting pains are the most obvious symptom. Pain. Someone told me about a Lyme doc in Boston but I missed the info. Does anyone have any Lyme docs that understand the shooting pain stuff in the Boston area? This stinks.

Can you send me an email? I can look through my list of LLMD's and send you their contact information.

Are you sure it's a cold? Lyme symptoms can mimic the flu and combined with your other symptoms, I would say you likely are having a flare, not a cold.

The shooting pains are likely from Neuro Lyme, so you can ask the doc about this specifically.

I had Lyme this summer and I thought it was starting to clear up. However as soon as I'm not feeling great it comes back. (or like you said it's another flare up) I had meningitis lyme, and Bells Palsy. My doc gave me adderall for my memory issues which is working okay, however the shooting pains are back. Thank you so much for any info you have. I haven't even told my husband it's hitting me again b/c I don't want to worry him. It's a lonely disease for sure. Thanks again.
