My LLMD knows I research extensively and encourages me to continue doing so. I've often shared my research with him and we've brainstormed things.
During my last appointment, he asked me if I would research chlorine dioxide as a treatment for Lyme.
I couldn't find anything on PubMed other than its use with food packaging and really wasn't finding anything too promising elsewhere.
I had another appointment with him today and told him about
my paltry research results while asking what he'd heard.
As things turned out, his wife has been battling Lyme for awhile and 2 years of IV abx did not relieve her symptoms.
Apparently *her* LLMD suggested chlorine dioxide and she is absolutely thrilled with the results.
My LLMD said that doctors seem to be "hush hush" on the topic so I thought I'd reach out to the good people on this forum.
Does anyone have anything to share about
chlorine dioxide?
Thanks to all who post!
