some advice need some/give some

So when my tick bite occurred it was a coldwater lake in Michigan, I was with my daughterand my dad... my dad now has strange symptoms... but his are different than mine, some what, he says he gets scaley red itchy skin patches, chills, sweats, and ALWAYS has a runny nose, all this is cycle like and he has joint pain... i believe a Dr. Tested him for psoriosis and said he thought it was fungal (last summer) but it never went away... a lot of his symptoms are similar to mine other than red scaley patches... i itch all over! But a lot of my symptoms went away or are milder with lyme treatment... he is also an alcoholic.



OAN: my llmd showed me this really cool trick: unsure about your reaction to an herb? Put the herb bottle up to your chest on your thymus gland... do you feel like you are being pushed back? That means you and the herb dont mix well! Try it! Chamoile gives me an anxious reaction and I tried it... it pushed me back!

Tbohl so sorry to hear you have Lyme but sounds like you are in treatment for it. The pain in feet I believe could be Bartanella, it's a co-infection. Unfortunately ticks don't only carry Lyme but can carry many other infections.

I've been itchy all over at times too.

My husband has Lyme also and has joint pain where mine is more muscular and I believe he got it from me. So everybody sx can be different. Hope your dad gets treatment for it.

Did you read the "new to Lyme", the different symptoms for the different infections? And then some overlap.

Will your Dad go in to get tested or see a LLMD? Those would be the best things to do.

Are his sweats drenching? If so that's a pretty good sign of Babesia, especially if he's experiencing air hunger as well.

The skin thing may or may not be from Lyme - it's hard to tell. I had some psoriasis during my first infection that was directly related to my Lyme infection. Once I healed from Lyme, the psoriasis went away too. When I got reinfected, the psoriasis "wanted" to come back, but stayed under control.

Considering he's a drinker, it's hard to tell what the skin issues could be from - it could be his liver, which is something that everyone would have to pay special attention to if he goes into treatment.

There are several Mt. Pleasant's in this country, which one are you talking about? I can take a look to see if there is any LLMD's on my list that are close.

I had very similar red patches, which surrounded a bite mark of some sort (or something that looked like a bite mark). Although I had general itchiness, my patches did not itch. I also had other rashes and skin symptoms. The patches appeared shortly after the "bite" mark. I also started to feel awful, fever, chills, stiff neck, all over body aches, ect. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened, but I tested positive for Lyme. I also have Bartonella and Babesia.

I think you should get your Dad to an LLMD. There is a good chance he has Lyme. I put some sulfur on my skin patches, which slowly cleared them. They have not come back. Since I started doxy, most of my skin symptoms have vastly improved. It has also improved my itching.

Although I can't tell you with certainty what caused my patches, your Dad's case seems a little similar. It would be a good idea to get him to an LLMD.
