Great.... and Andrew just went positive for Bart.!!!!!!!!!! I need a superbug like I need a hole in the head - wish I could just yell and scream and scare them out of his body at this point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So sick of all this and so heartbroken for him. Healing from a huge darn surgery is easier than all this - just losing patience, have been working so hard to get him well. You should see his face when the broccoli arrives each day - or more delightful cleanse, as he says .... so, is a cookie coming anytime soon? :(

Need more fundraisers and govt. allocation for research - they certainly pump out enough for cancer and we can't get there either! Although I'm grateful to Sloan that my brother in law is still alive after 4 years of treatment, they call him the experimental golden boy - the test program was 100 people, 3 lived, he was one of them. God bless research! Just need more for lyme....

But Bartonella isn't like any other bacteria - that's why it's not as easy to treat as any other bacteria. That would be like saying that Lyme is like any other spirochete bacteria as well -like syphilis, which is cured easily with penicillin- but we know that's not true either.

So the links needed to show that Bart is a "super bug" has to be specific to Bart., not to bacteria in general.
