Has anyone here gor bursitis from lyme???if yes will it ever go well i have bursitis in both my hips and its killing my life i can hardly stand

Please Please share your experiences and tell me hat can i do.Does it better with lyme or not??

Sorry you are going through this, that sounds terribly painful. Lyme seems to cause so many ailments, I wouldn't be surprised that it could cause bursitis. It makes any ailment you have worse and other ailments make the Lyme worse. It goes around and around.

Continued treatment of your Lyme should make any other symptoms you have better. So don't give up. Are you able to take any anti-inflammation medicines?

I was told I had bursitis in my hips too. The good news is it comes and goes. Nothing helps. Laying down makes it worse. Take some pain medication so it doesn't affect your life too much is all I can say.

I am so sorry for what you are going through, I wont be able to help you with experience, but I want say please dont give up, take the stregnth of all who give you courage and our prayers,

If you can , try to do breathing exercises and meditation if it can ease your pain.

I wish you, and send you all my stregnth, hope someone can help you more than me.

Yes, Lyme can cause bursitis! Lyme is an inflammatory infection - the inflammation is even in between our cells!!!

Even the Johns Hopkins medical center says this:

"During early infection, migratory arthralgias and pain in bursae, tendon, muscle, or bone occur in the majority of patients."
