Just looking to see if anyone has had any success with cannabis oil or CBD oil in treating lymes disease. I recently just purchased some CBD oil from Bluebird Botanicals and have been taking it for 2 weeks now. I haven't notice much so far. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Perhaps if you contact some of the posters directly, they can tell you their experience with CBH oil.

Frank, I tried it for a month or so and felt no better, but I would imagine it would take longer to see any results. I just couldn't afford it any more.

It's a good muscle relaxant. It does have antibacterial cannabinoids, as well, and has been shows effective in studies using methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains.
A problem I could see that would counter the benefits is that it is a mild thyroid suppressant. And besides inflammation, I think thyroid function is even more important that the infection itself.

Funny you say that, itsnotjustlyme, as I have hypothyroidism. Also, green veggies which are good !or Lyme aren't good for hypothyroidism. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Don't need to lose more weight!
Thank you!

Sorry that you're not getting good results from this Frank. I haven't noticed too many benefits from it either yet but I feel like it's doing something. I also haven't noticed too much improvement from any of my other treatment earlier. Maybe this one works more "under the hood" so to speak? Or maybe it's not doing anything for you. From what I've read it seems like it should help quite a bit though. Your mileage may vary though, as always. I tend to get really excited for new lyme treatments and then realize that although they are good they aren't the miracle, night and day difference, cure that I thought they would be. Oh well, I allow myself to get excited and hopeful about
stuff like that. Heals the mind, which is just as important as healing the body if not more so, in my opinion. Good luck with your treatment and I hope you feel better soon!
