Hi Beefany,
The palpatations you experiencing are probably from lyme, bartonella, and/or babesia, etc. I don't think taking the B6 (although very helpful for healing and keeping your tissues and organs strong) will make the palpatations go away. I know this isn't the answer you probably wanted to hear.
Beefany, you are going to get overwhelmed with questions about which vitamins, which supplements, etc. etc.
If you get a prompt diagnosis, I don't think your lyme is progressed far enough that your body is falling apart. So don't get too wrapped up in some of these issues. This is one of the BIG problems that plagues lyme suffers; we feel like will will die or compromise our body if we aren't on the right supplement or are looking for that magic bullet. We've all been there. OR, we think that supplement is going to solve or majorly reduce their lyme problems. Nothing wrong with this thinking, it is good to try to be pro-active. But only by reducing the infection will the symptoms go away. Our bodies are amazingly capable or regulating as the infections clears. But, yes, if you feel something is helping, then only you know.
You cannot go wrong with taking a multi-vitamin, probiotic, and eating a macro-diet (to the best of your ability). These are pretty standard and one of the most helpful things you can do for overall health at this critical time.
SOME general supplements most lyme patients take are Chlorella/Spirulina (absorbs toxins and will reduce herxes), SAM-E (very helpful in reducing depression and some brain fog), and Coq-10 (if you are worried about the heart). All these suggestions are in the "New to Lyme" forums.
There a BUNCH of other things that others will recommend. HOWEVER, I have personally found that taking garlic, oregano, olive leaf extrat, etc. made my herxes MUCH worse because they are bacterial killers as well. They are GREAT supplements, but only you know what is too much. And remember that the herbal protocols take care of cleansing and killing at the same time.
Try to keep it simple. I've known a few people who were on 20-40 pills a day...that can be oppressive and exhausting to your body. It is true that lyme does make you feel like you are dying and you do have this weird feeling like you need to be on EVERYTHING. I saw in the last Lyme conference that there is something in the bacterium that actually makes you think you are dying that so you will release more cortisol for its survival. Lyme actually deceives you into thinking you are sicker than you are (I'm speaking generally), maybe because alot of it resides in the nerves.? But it would also explain why clinical tests, etc all come back fairly normal. (I don't want to disrespect people who have had lyme for a long time, because, of course, bad things can sometimes happen and some lyme patients really do have signficiant issues).
LONG story short, I'm just trying to re-assure you Beefany that everything will be okay if you get on the right treatment. Stick with the basics that we all know how to do with our diet, etc.
