It does look to be really expensive. There was a interview where a mother talked about
taking her kids to India for stem cell treatment. Her son had a couple of treatments that helped him, but like achievinggrace said, it'll heal some of the damage done but you still need to fight the infection.
Honestly, if it was more affordable and if it gave me a better quality of life and a better chance to fight the infection, then I would totally try it. But I think when I read about
it a while ago the base price for it now is like $40-$60,000. Other countries like Mexico and India offer it cheaper by like $20,000. *Sigh* I really wish medical science was further along and a lot cheaper for everyone. It makes me sad when I start thinking about
it all.
