I just got a call from a local store that said listeria was found in some products. I assume it's all over the country. The website is too busy now to check it out more. Here's a phone number they gave.
1-707-781-7535. And website. amys.com/news/press-releases I'll let you know how widespread it is when I find out. They said it's mainly a problem with people who have a compromised immune system and pregnant women. So not a good thing for Lymies.

I heard about this on the news either yesterday evening or this morning. When I saw this I was not shocked. Didn't take very long after being bought out for their name to be tarnished in the public eye now did it? I'm sure there won't be Amy's much longer....... really sucks - I liked them too but now the quality is completely ruined. Wonder if they got enough money from the sale to soothe their guilty conscience? I feel like I've been betrayed by people I trust!

Buy local when possible and always buy GMO free/Organic!

I didn't know they were bought out. How long ago did it happen? I'm not surprised since many companies do that when there's money to be made. We mainly use 2 products.

Thank you so much for posting that. I had a couple of those products in my freezer. One being the vegetable lasagna..
