I have to tell you first that I feel like I am improving, but it is slow going and I am not better yet. I started treatment with abx in November and then switched to herbs after 10 weeks of abx.
I limit my sugar and all grains/starches. I try to eat as much organic food as I can afford. I make sure to eat organic meat and products of meat (dairy). I don't eat much dairy, but do eat some. I don't normally eat anything processed.
I don't do many detox bathes because they are time consuming and I am a lucky one that I have continued to work full time. I am uncomfortable much of the time, but I am living and doing most of what I need to do as a Mom, wife and employee. I do take them once in a while. They use to make me feel really sick, but now not so much. I assume that means my bacterial levels are down :) yea!!!
What I do for detox is lemon water, lots of water thru out the day, dry brushing before a shower, at least 1 walk per day, daily yoga, I have recently started infared sauna's 3-4 times per week(Lyme bugs hate heat), slow jog to work up a sweat a few times per week(Lyme bugs don't like oxygen), cbd oil, bee pollen, vitamin C, D, fish oil, digestive enzyme, good probiotic, folate (for the MTHFR mutation), a clean diet, LDN and I get 8-10 hours of sleep per night. I try to spend some time outside every day.
Wow, that's a lot. I've not written that all down before. It seems like everyone has a little bit of a different protocol and that is how I've created mine. I learn from members here. I am also on an herbal tea from my Chinese Medical Doctor. Most of the things I am on or do is because of research I've done and not prescribed by my doctor.
I feel like I am getting better, but it is pretty gradual and up and down. I keep a symptom journal. I don't write down all my symptoms but I do write a grade down for the day on a scale from 1-10. Then I graph it. It is a good way to see if you are improving. I feel like I am close to turning a corner and I just need to keep it up.
Hope I answered your question. You are luck to have found this community. There is so much information here and so many really great people!
