I know often times some symptoms of Lyme can come and go. However, I just read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) that often times, unlike Lyme, Bartonella symptoms are more persistent and constant. I also was just asking my LLMD if it's normal to have some symptoms that come and go, and others that are daily/constant, and he said yes absolutely.

What are your guys' experiences with this? I definitely have some issues that come and go but others I deal with on a daily basis no matter what.

From what I've seen over the years of being on here - and my own experiences of course - is that what comes and goes and what is constant differs for most people. It's more like it's all up to what parts of the body were weakest.

For me it was my intestines and psych issues, along with tons of pain that were constant for me for many years. My periods of complete exhaustion rotated around my changing sleep patterns, and so on.

I have constant symptoms, but they are more pronounced on some days. I did have severe psych issues (super bad anxiety, rage, etc) years ago, long before I knew what was causing them, but they sort of vanished into thin air. The cognitive issues and other symptoms I am experiencing now just keep lingering, no matter what I do. It's so frustrating!
