Is 3 months too long of a break from treatment?

So... Most of you know I had a really bad episode and about died from anaphylaxis. Turns out I have a mass issue, MCAD or MCAS. so I stopped my Lyme treatment to get this under control to basically ensure my survival.

My doctor says that my improvement isn't good enough. I would be getting a picc line in June. But since this all happened he wants to go in a different direction. He wanted to start babesia and parasite treatment.

I asked if we should wait for test results so we know for sure what we are dealing with. I already sent my parasite test off. Anyone know how long to get results on that?? Anyway, he said that's fine. But the thing is I'm not getting my other blood work until the 29th on May and it takes 30 days for results.

So let's see... It was sometime in April that I stopped treatment. And waiting for results would put me at the first week of July. OK wait... that's closer to 2 1/2 months? Imean bad at math lol.

My mast cell was reactive today because of the heat. But cooling off and taking my medicine worked really well. I even also been stressed out about some personal issues and that's adding to it I'm sure. All in all though I'm a thousand times better. At least!

My first break was 3 months, because my doc said it was too dangerous to continue (shock). Then after that a 1 month break, and then another 3 months when I broke my back. I continued my supplements though during that time.
Sometimes continuing could put one's life in danger, I. Think your dr made a good decission. It didn't set me back, but continuing would have been too dangerous and irresponsible.

Awesome! I'm going with it then! How exciting! I do not miss taking all those pills at all. I should take this time to start some supplements one at a time and see if I react to any of them.
