Now the lyme doc has switched my IV med to Invanz, hope this is more effective for me. And she sent me a detox kit of 3 small btls and also Pinella and Banderol with different directns for each. Are any of you familiar with these meds?

And I was reading on my Lyme Support Grp page how many ppl have died just recently from lyme--it is shocking and I did not know how dangerous this is for all of us.

I can't comment on the meds since I have not had the experience with them. I do however wish to comment on people dying from Lyme.

Lyme does kill, period. There are many people who go mis-diagnosed and untreated for so long that the body eventually succumbs to the associated illnesses like cardiac arrest, depression, anxiety, blood disorders, breathing disorders, etc. Seldom are deaths directly blamed on Lyme, but rather on a secondary symptom caused by Lyme.

On the bright side, once you start treating, the bacteria stop reproducing and the damage to the body slows down or stops. This is very important to remember. It is also important to remember that the damage that Lyme and Co cause can take years to restore and that treatment can take a very, very long time. I fear for those people who lose faith in their body's ability to heal itself and go do something fatal because they can't take it anymore.

Lyme and co are very sophisticated pathogens unlike anything that the scientific world has ever encountered and thus the reason why it is so hard to treat. This is important to remember when treating it. If you get it into your brain that this is a long term treatment plan, you will be less disappointed when you are still sick months later.

I have taken Pinella and like it. It helps a lot with brain fog and detoxing. I also like Burbur.

I have never taken Banderol. It is an antimicrobial. It kills the bugs and should be taken a few hours (on both sides) apart from detox. I usually take Pinella first thing in the morning before my antibiotics and antimicrobials and a couple hours after my last dose of bug killers. If you take it too close to them, it won't do it's job.

This is what I was told by the lyme doc's nurse--the banderol (1-30drops 2xd before meals) and then pinella(l0 drops can be taken at the same time but do not mix together and they both need to be taken in 3-4 oz of water each.

And the small btls of detox liquid-15 drops each 3xd can be mixed together in a glass and then drink between meals and supplemts.

Does this sound familiar to any of you doing detox, etc. or should I change something?

And btw, the above extras are in addition to the 15 other meds I take everyday and I wonder if I will get the hang of all this?

You should also let them sit for a couple minutes before drinking them.

I always take my Pinella at least 30 minutes prior to eating AND taking any antibiotics or other bug killing herbs / antimicrobials. Otherwise, the bug killers just cancel out the Pinella.

I find that I do better when taking it at least an hour before OR two hours after bug killers. I was taking it too close to bug killers and it was not helping me.

An exception to this is if I'm trying to reduce a herx.

Banderol is an antimicrobial bug killer. You probably want to start very slowly with it because it can be very powerful. Maybe start out with a single drop to see how you react and slowly increase.

Also, I had no issues with the Pinella when I started. 10 drops of it probably won't bother you. If you're sensitive, you can start out with a few.

It can be confusing! I agree. A simple way to look at it is to keep detoxing away from anything that fights Lyme and Co.

You can probably take your other detox kit at the same time as your Pinella. I don't know what it is though. So, just double check. :)

My doc suggested making a chart of what to take when. That can help. Then you can figure out a place for everything.
