It does sound like lyme disease to me. I think you should find a LLMD and schedule an appointment a.s.a.p.
The sooner you get treated (if it's lyme disease), the better off you will be.
You may not get a positive test result - many people with lyme have a negative result. Two weeks may be too soon for a test to show positive. I believe it needs to be a minimum of 4 weeks after the bite for the body to produce antibodies that will show up on the test.
If you need help finding a LLMD, you can start a new thread titled: "Looking for LLMD in/near_______" and insert your city/town and the State.
