Hot skin is one of my strangest (among many strange) symptoms...my doctor suggested it may be due to babesia, but it manifests for me differently than you describe. Nearly every day between 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. (I know that sounds crazy, but it's like clockwork.), both of my legs suddenly become very hot, and then itchy, and when I look at my legs, they're bright red and hot to the touch. I show my coworkers often to prove to them how totally nutso this disease can be, so that they'll take the threat of Lyme seriously. (I'm on a crusade!)
I also can hear my pulse in my ear when I put it to the pillow, and when I have my hearing. I've got 50% hearing loss in my left ear and tinnitus, which sometimes can be loud enough to drown out all other sound. The ENT diagnosed me with Meniere's disease because of the pattern of hearing loss and two disabling vertigo attacks, but my LLMD suspects that the inner ear problem is (surprise) also due to Lyme and simply mimicking Meniere's.
I studied creative writing, and if anyone had ever turned in a story to workshop that involved a character with such a bizarre patchwork of symptoms, that writer would have been laughed out of the room. Truth truly is stranger than fiction, and it seems like everyone who has Lyme has completely different symptoms, or similar ones that have their own particular nuances.
