If any of you more experienced with this whole process could help me find a LLMD before I get worse, I would be forever grateful.
I am in Downest Maine, and surrounding towns/cities are; Ellsworth, Bucksport, Brewer, Bangor. If need be I will find a way to get wherever I need to be. At this point the headaches are coming and going, and I am generally just starting to feel achy all over. The leg I was bit on seems to get sharp pains, and those are random. I am tired and just want to sleep. Please help me find a LLMD in my area so I can get this taken care of. The bullseye/ red ring around my bite is still the same. I have had an initial dose of 200mg of Doxycycline, but have been told this is not enough to fight off the bacteria.

While you are waiting...it is a good idea to read the "New To Lyme Thread"
and try to de-stress as much as possible... i know its hard... but stress makes it worse.
If you can take a relaxing bath or find even a ten minute guided meditation on Youtube...
Anything you can do to feel a bit of comfort & ease the stress... is a good idea (IHMO)
There will be more folks chiming in at some point with suggestions...

Yes I did Bellyfull, thank you for letting me know about
the email and making me feel welcome! I will try my best to relax and not get so stressed, and also read the "new to lyme" thread.
Sayyadina, thank you for the suggestions. I will contact both places and see if that helps.
I have no transportation but if I need to travel to get this taken care of I definetely will. Who would have thought that one tiny tick could cause such problems in ones life!!!
Thank you all so much. Very thankful that I found a supportive group of people to help me through this process.
