Thanks all. What I've been doing to detox is just drinking a lot of water and going to the gym and running and sweating a lot.
The herxes are bad but mild compared to what I used to get. These herxes make me sweat for hours and then it just stops and I feel better.
Today so far I feel fine. I slept a lot last night which I'm sure helped.
Just a question for LymieGirl - what is Cryptolepis?
I decided to stay at my current dose and not increase until I am stable.
It's weird how it suddenly hits. I should stop using my Infrared Sauna as a storage spot (I wanted to sell it before I started back on treatment) and start using it again.
I am kicking myself for going so long off treatment. I went back for a semester to University to finish my BA and I went off treatment then and never went back on and that was in 2012. Since 2012 I had been pursuing other University studies and didn't think I could afford to go back on treatment and have it interrupt my life.
Now I've been accepted to teacher's college and I have to figure out a dose of treatment that I can live with while at University.
I guess I was just hoping I could control my symptoms with a lot of exercise but I couldn't. I wouldn't say I relapsed but there were symptoms that never went away and one in particular that's been haunting me for so long (and completely disrupts my life) -- Severe (!!!) PMS.
Anyhow, I've been on the antibiotic protocol since around the first week of May. BUT I added the antimalarial the first week of June (I couldn't get it earlier because it was backordered).
I think for me the harshest part of the treatment is the tinidazole and the antimalarials.
Thanks all for your replies. Sending healing energy your way.
