Very few people have trouble with Cat's Claw, apart from herxheimer's, and it's going to be hard to treat Lyme without Cat's Claw.
Plus, all of the Lyme herbs are equally potent.

You're right. I definitely think my reaction was a herx. But at the time I started using it, I hadn't used any other antimicrobial or anti-inflammatory herbs, so my load was probably pretty high.
I simply have not trialled it again since using the bart/babs protocols because I don't feel that I need to. Both my daughter and I are quite asymptomatic now.
I'm not sure what you mean about
all of the lyme herbs being equally potent. Many people have infections in addition to lyme, and everyone will react differently to herbs depending on the infections they have and their infection/parasite loads.
