Silver has been proven to make antibiotics more effective. I think you have to ingest a lot of silver to turn blue.
Silver has been used in Europe for a long time. In Germany, for example, hospital equipment and door knobs are wiped down with silver. It works. But like all things, too much of a good thing is a bad thing.
I personally used silver, grapefruit seed extract and other herbal anti-microbials for about a year. I kne that these could have side effects, but to a far lesser degree than doxycyline and FAR FAR lesser degree than clindamycin. 3 weeks on that ruined my strong hearty stomach for years to come.
If you are going to use a dropper of silver a day, I don't think you will turn blue. Yes it can "build" up in your system, as can NSAIDS, antibiotics and literally anything you ingest or inhale. This is what a good 1) immune system and 2) liver and detox system is for.
We cannot just take antibiotics and expect our health to return if these other systems are sluggish. Antibiotics may kill most of the bacteria, but weaken your liver, gut and immue system in the process. The result? Whatever .01% of the strongest bacteria survive may multiply due to your weak defense.
Antimicrobials are a great boost. They can do wonders. But the end goal is to get off them and get build yourself up so that your immune system can fight off the next infection you get down the road. The world isn't a sanitized place. Immunity is your best friend, not antibiotics.
