upper left quadrant pain with lyme?

[img] Hi everyone. Has anyone ever heard of having ongoing upper left side abdominal pain, just under, and to the left side of left ribs. Near the arm pit but lower and it goes to the back also (same side?). Sometimes moves to the upper left side (liver??) and causes heartburn that is so severe it drops me to my knees, sometimes throwing up from it?

My doctor sent me to a GI co-op of doctors and without examining physically pronounced me having IBS and said to go on reflux meds and have a colonoscopy because I/m over 40 now.

This does NOT feel like a colon problem. I've had plenty of those. When I said LYME he rolled his eyes and dismissed me completely.

This is starting to ache all the time now and I'm always nausious and have mostly lost my appetite. It is also worse after I eat. Lots of water helps, temp.

Any ideas??

Yup, removed it in 1989. I have looked up pancreas and liver issues and they are connected. The symptoms are close, but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions. I was just wondering if this is a complication of the lyme. I know if I was under the care and treatment locally with an attentive LLMD I would be looked at differently and may have not been ignored so much.
