Why no research into the affects of Graviola on Lyme?

My ex girlfriend had Lyme her entire life she finially passed on several months ago. Now it's my life long mission to cure Lyme and I'm hoping someone will read this because I strongly believe this should save alot of time and money on research and may actually work as an effective cure. Take a look at the research on cancer now this tree is supposed to affective kill certain types of cancer by triggering the t-cells in our body. My findings on this though are that this tree effectively kills many ViRuS's and infections and also has neurological effects as well such as helping in panic disorders, Parkinsons, helping calm seizures, ect... Also strengening the immune system where Lyme breaks it down and high vitamin content and low acidic properties. Why shouldn't it be introduced into the fight against Lyme???

I think that the danger of it has been over estimated, but I can also see how it may lead to trouble. For example take the study about the rats in the wikipedia link developing atypical parkinsons. First the toxin was injected directly into their blood and not ingested, no one knows if ingesting it changes how much gets absorbed into the blood or at what rate.
Also the amount of toxin needed to reproduce this would be equivalent to a 200 lb. person eating around 40-50 pawpaw fruit (a relative to graviola) every day for a month. It has also been shown that glucose counter acts the effects of the toxin so obviously eating it in the fruit form is best, if you have issues with sugar metabolism use caution?
However I don't know if I would feel comfortable ingesting large amounts of the bark or leaves as a supplement because it has been shown that they contain even higher amounts of the toxin. This is believed to be one of the contributing factors for people in Guadalupe who develop neurological problems with graviola. It would be nice to see more research going into all of the other bioactive compounds found in the annona family but right now it seems everybody is concerned with the toxicity of it as it does so a lot of promise with cancer etc.
