Any more celebrities with Lyme disease?

I know that Avril Lavigne, Daryl Hall, and Yolanda Foster (err, whoever that is) have Lyme disease. Is there anyone else you know of that's in the public eye and has Lyme disease?

Author Amy Tan and pop singer Debi Gibson. Both have been very outspoken on the subject. Avril Levine means well but she's not comfortable talking about her Lyme battle yet.

Yolanda Foster is a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills. She was a model but more importantly she is the wife of 13 (?) time Grammy winning music producer David Foster.

I think there has been some politicians that have had it...including the President when he was in office (Bush Jr)... They didn't say anything until like 6 months afterwards too.

I think Alec Baldwin has chronic Lyme. David Letterman had anaplasmosis, not sure where he stands on that. Gretchen Carlson from Fox News and Mexican singer and soap opera star Thalia had it at one point too.

Hmm, I hadn't heard about any of these cases before. I am especially interested in the fact that Alec Baldwin and Joni Mitchell have these highly mocked conditions. I have been a fan of Alec for years, and Joni was a woman ahead of her time, for sure.

It's not nice to know anyone suffers, but as more powerful people get these more mysterious conditions, sooner or later something will be done, I suppose.

And the list keeps lengthening.

I remember hearing about Neneh Cherry having Lyme disease back in the day. I even remember thinking that she was lucky that it was found, seeing as at the time so little was known about it. The article I read on her was on the popmythology.com site that ClaraS listed above, they made it sound like she probably recovered or that she may have found a way to live alright despite it.

I think Ashley Olsen is then Olsen twin with Lyme. And I was told William Shatner has chronic Lyme but I couldn't find anything about that online so it might not be true. He has helped with Lyme awareness though. Also Kevin Bacon is involved in Lyme awareness I think, so maybe he had or has Lyme? I don't know though, maybe he just knows someone with Lyme. There is a professional tennis player who had Lyme I think but I can't remember her name. Also there is a professional skier who had Lyme but I don't know her name.

It is tennis player Sam Stosur who had Lyme.
