Hi there,

Can anyone give me the lowdown on LLMDs in NY/CT area? Who has a good reputation, etc. and any personal experiences with them? I'm especially looking for doctors who use IV antibiotics.

te24ach - Please enable your email option so names can be sent to you..we can't post the Dr.'s names on the forum - for privacy reasons.

to enable email: Click on "My Profile" (blue bar- upper left), then click on "Edit Profile", then click on "show my email", then scroll down and click on 'submit' to save your changes.

For anyone that is still looking for a LLMD/LLND in these areas - I have very limited information on each doctor, but I do have listings for these areas - just send me an email stating the city and state in which you would like to find a LLMD, and I'll see how close I can get.

You can also email these organizations:

You can also go to The Lyme Disease Association and search for LLMD's 3 times in a month. You have to register first. Here is the link:

​ You will want to find an ILADS (International Lyme And Associated Diseases Society) trained doctor, as ID Docs (Infectious Disease Doctors) believe Lyme is hard to catch and easy to treat, and don't believe in the reality of chronic Lyme. Hi There,

Can someone please give me contact info for LLMD's with good feedback in the NYC(5 boroughs) or Long Island(Nassau County) area?

I have been misdiagnosed for the past 6~7 years by specialist after specialist and I now strongly believe I've been suffering from LD this whole time.

I am so thankful to have come across this forum that has brought me awareness of all my symptoms.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
