Thank you for your kind words, Inspiredby3 - but the Chronic Tonic is just for Lyme disease - although I only had to add in one more herb to treat my Bartonella as well.
While the Chronic Tonic was a very good choice for me (has worked twice!!), like everything else when treating these infections, it's not for everyone.
Ginger, why don't you tell us what's going on? I didn't tolerate the abx very well myself, which is why I went to herbal protocols. My body doesn't detox very well - how about
yours? Have you had any of the MTHFR testing done yet to see if you have gene mutations that are making it difficult for your body to detox? If so, what were those results?
If you are having issues with detoxing, you need to be careful to not flood your body with toxins by either being too aggressive in treatments or by trying to treat too many infections at the same time. We don't want you to have to really struggle through any of this, since it's definitely not required to do so. Treating slowly and carefully works a lot better every time.
If you wish to continue on with what you have started, you are already taking most of what Buhner's core protocol is for Lyme - maybe you should check out his website for more help:
buhnerhealinglyme.com/the-protocols/Oh and L-arginine can reactivate an EBV infection - it did for me. Should you find that you have, or if you have cold sores (HSV), you can treat those with high dose L-lysine. That's all I've used for the last 10 years to control my EBV and HSV.
