How long were you on tindamax for?

My LLMD is willing to work with me because he knows how harsh the drug is on the body, so I'm wondering how long you were all on it for? I'm four days on three days off a week.

Three months? Six months?

Ramping up atm, currently taking 500mg a day and not herxing! I'm very surprised, will be on 1000mg next week.

I was on Tini from 10-29-12 thru 8-15-13 in several combo protocols including IV Rocephin, Zith, Mepron, and Bactrim DS... yes, at one time all together.

I pulsed (2) 500mg tabs 1x/day only on Monday and Tuesday

I took it for almost 3 months - two days a week. I stopped due to high liver enzymes - not sure if it was the Tini, or the biaxin/ceftin combo...or everything all together.

Wow that's a long haul. I am taking it four days though to your two so maybe I don't need to be on it that long? Better safe than sorry though I suppose

I take it for 3 days once per month, but forgot t do it last month and need to do it but don't want to.

I'm on Omnicef/Tindamax M,W,F been doing it a month and will do it another month before next doctor appt. I've was on Omnicef/Zithro daily for almost 3 months before. My doctor is very big on pulsing for all the good reasons mentioned throughout this forum.

You need to get periodic lab work to ensure all your levels are fine and that's what I think really drives the decisions on some of these, and of course whether they're having a positive impact on your condition(s).

I was 4 days on 3 days off a week from Middle of this april till middle of this june so pulsed for roughly 2 months along with doxy 100mg twice a day everyday and a ton of Chinese herbs. I had no issue with tindy at all

Tindy was one 500mg pill a day for those 4 days on... i tried to go to 1000mg and it caused serve restlessness

500mg 2x a day for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off for 2 years :-)

I have been on it since around the beginning of May. I find it very hard to tolerate BUT I know it is helping my brain fog. And it is helping my bladder.

The highest dose I got up to was 1,000 mgs every three days. It was just too much die-off and depression (serious depression!) so I talked to my doctor and we reduced it to 250 mgs. That is what I can tolerate.

I think tindamax has been the most helpful medical treatment I've been on so far.

Your LLMD sounds good if he or she is willing to work with you on doses. My doctor always says there is no one size fits all approach. He is right. We're all different.

I was on it for 3 days a week for about 4 or 5 months. I didn't herx from it either, which was a total surprise for both me and my doctor.

I was on it for 3 months 5 days on 2 days off. I feel that was simply too much though and would not have taken it that much if i knew what I know now.
