I don't know for sure, but I believe so. My doctor just told me this week that I'm hypoglycemic, which does run in the family, but I have no doubt that Lyme is playing a part in my body's ability to regulate my blood sugar as well. It definitely can't help. Whether it's causing it or not, I can't say for sure. But everyone is different. I struggle big time with regulating blood sugar though, and it's frustrating because sometimes the reason for my blood sugar crash is obvious, and a lot of times it doesn't seem to matter how well I eat, how often I eat, etc, it just crashes and is extremely difficult to bounce back from. That's been one of my biggest struggles this week.
