First true relapse/herx/backward-step (don't no what to call it!) since treatment at the SWI Clinic

Hey all!! I haven't posted on here for a while, I do log on now and then and check out the posts but haven't posted myself until today.

I've been back from the SWI Clinic for around 3 1/2 months and been feeling absolutely great, I kept a journal on my return and before this herx/relapse whatever it is! It worked out I was having 84% good days ~ good days to me means being able to go out and do simple tasks like driving light cardio/swimming and taking my daughter to the park etc

It all started on the 2nd of July, I was scheduled to have 2 teeth taken out under general anaesthetic.
So I underwent the operation and that all went fine, I woke up with some discomfort, and very groggy, (nothing really to write home about)

A day after the operation I woke up still feeling super tired but with fatigue which was odd because I hadn't felt fatigued in months.

Days past and I kept getting worse and worse, my whole head has been buzzing with 'electricity', daily tasks soon diminished. It felt like someone had tipped sauce on my brain

I upped all my supplements and glutathione and used a sauna and steam room as much as possible to try and detox myself. (when I was having the odd good spell, but with no avail.)

Which brings me to today which is the worst day I've had in sooo long on several occasions I've nearly went into seizure mode or fainted, I've felt like an Alzheimer's patient all day, I've also had ridiculous light sensitivity (squinting just to write this post lol gotta laugh or I'll go crazy) also serious breathing symptoms have elevated again along with a pale/yellow complexion.

In all I just thought I'd share this and update with you guys just to see how my body reacts in the coming days/weeks.

I killed substantial amounts of Lyme plus co infections along with mould whilst at the SWI clinic. I'm interested to see how long this lasts...

Yeah I have a telephone appointment booked during the week but the thing is most of the supplements and tablets arnt available here in the UK and all my orders keep getting stopped by customs, so I'm kinda in a catch 22.

The surgery definitely triggered this off, I'll wait to here what the doc or nurse recommends :)

I have read that anesthesia can really effect people with MTHFR issues - in particular, slowing the conversion of homocysteine to methionine, which immediately increases the level of homocysteine ...

I am not saying it is this or that - but it might not be as simple as a bacterial relapse

so one can never truly get rid of the disease completely?

Wow once in 3 years can't complain about that traveler! That's really good news.
Yeah I certainly felt the signs of slipping, I'm on extreme detox mode at the minute just hoping it passes soon

CarlG, I hope you are doing well now. I am interested in going to the Sponaugle institute and have been following your progress. Hope things have settled for you,

Hi dmw52, I've only just just seen your message in my emails, I am now doing great again thank you, it seems it was just a blip on the radar due to dental surgery, I'm continuing to grow healthier and stronger each day, I still have bad days; some times incrediblely bad days, but they are tolerable and I know that this time it's only temporary. I take 5000-6000mg of glutathione a day (helps sooo much) along with other supplements, I have a colonic once a week and try to eat semi heathy.

It's now been over six months that I left Dr Sponaugle and I can now honestly say he saved my life, there's no two ways about it.
I'm still in contact with the Doc but because I'm from England it's difficult for follow up bloods etc.

If you were to look at my old posts on this forum I was feeling suicidle, thought I was going blind, I was in bed 24/7, but now over the six months I've gradually got back to a 'normal' lifestyle, I would say I'm 72-75% cured, I do things now that I could have only dreamed of this time last year.

SWI isn't a cheap option and I don't believe it's the only option of being cured but it certainly worked for me.
