Can you compare it to a different odor, what does it smell like!
Many others have said and I've experienced the smell of cat urine...ammonia!
From my understand a byproduct of killing Lyme is ammonia.

Different body odors can happen when we are full of toxins that are created by these infections, and the body begins to detox them out through your skin and other detox pathways.

The one I smelled most commonly was ammonia - which reminded me of cat urine, so I cussed my cat for a long time!! LOL!

Now, I have recently been dealing with a bladder infection, and that's when I smell what is close to burning rubber (more precisely it smells like an electric motor when it's burning up! LOL!) - so do be sure to be checked for a bladder infection, just in case.

Do you have symptoms that point towards a Lyme infection, or is this smell the only one?

Yeah, agree with the toxin release and being sensitive to smells...it's like your body is telling u to detox!

I haven't noticed it in a couple months, so it will get better :)

I 'get' two kinds of odors.

One is like vinegar, I guess it is ammonia. I had a lot of manual therapy done last week. I'm seeing a new physiotherapist who'se working on my connective tissue and giving his best work (it's real torture, but I have to sit it out). He's releasing the toxin buildup in my connective tissue, and I can really smell it. He had the hardest work done on Tuesday, and today is the first day that I notice that the smell is less bad.

The other smell is wet hay. Don't know the cause of it. Some say it's really typical for Brucellosis. But I tested negative (test accuracy is only 25%), but that doesn't really say much...

I've noticed that since stopping the HM Chelate product, by pure encapsulation, that my 'cat-pee' body order is gone:

Oh my word, I have a horrific ammonia smell on my scalp, which gets in my hair, and anywhere that gets sweaty, and my parents before I moved out just would describe it as “Mandy smells Toxic”. My mom was an RN and she said it smells like people that have organs shutting down, a very decaying smell!

When detoxing a ton, it almost gets worse.

my treatment llmd gave me this concoction to put as a paste all over my armpits, chest, back, and face and now I do not smell at all!

1 tbsp cacao powder (not cocoa powder)

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp castor oil

6 capsules broken open of activated charcoal

1 tbsp baking soda

let sit 15-30 min. wash off in shower.

Okay, I am going to respond here. I may have mentioned it before, but I usually don’t respond to posts about odors because mine are different.

My scalp has smelled stinky at least since my teen years. I just asked my mom what it smells like, and she said it smells like a sour sweaty smell.

I now have some odor in my armpits, particularly in the mornings. I haven’t used deodorant in over 2 years since I don’t want to prevent what little detoxing my skin is able to do. My armpit odor just smells like people of certain ethnic groups (of which I am not) who eat a lot of heavily spicy foods like garlic, curry, etc. I assume my odor is from the herbs and supplements I take, because I don’t eat those type spices. I also don’t take curcumin anymore and have never taken garlic.

I asked my mom if any of the odor I have ever smells like ammonia, and she said no. Apparently, mine is from something other than ammonia.

My pee did have a strong smell the other day and I had some pain with urination and seem to be detoxing heavily the past two days. Didn’t really smell like ammonia, though. Was more of a sweet smell. (Sorry. That’s gross😝

That recipe sounds interesting. Can you put it on your scalp? Did it cause it detox herxing like it was drawing stuff out of your skin/tissues?

Yes big time!! it made my whole back and chest get an acne type reaction and junk coming out of my pores! my lymphatic drainage therapist thought it was detoxing mold! my llmd has given it to mold patients before and they get like legit sinus drainage and like cystic type sores oozing stuff after using the paste!
I have never used it on my scalp, I honestly don’t know why you couldn’t! very safe ingredients. i should try that!
