First of all, I had a urine test run through Doctors Data and I have high levels of lead. Is that what you're asking?
Did your naturopath not tell you how to treat the metal toxicity? There are several ways to treat it. I am taking an oral chelation protocol which includes DMSA and chlorella. But this is not something you should do without supervision, can you ask your naturopath for a protocol?

I had the same test with Doctors data. I have Lead, Mercury + all sort of metal toxicity. yes that it was I was asking for.......thank you.
she gave me some Glutathion/ 2 a day. she told me that it should clear in 8 weeks, I will go see her again soon, I will see what she says, I will definitely ask her for a protocol, I already left her messages and she has not called me back. do you feel better, can I ask you how u felt?

I haven't been doing it very long but I don't notice a difference yet.
I'm not sure glutathione alone is enough to clear all those metals.

that is what I was thinking. I will see what she says when I go see her............can I ask you if she gave you a protocol right after? where are you........? maybe it is the
location? or they work differently? I saw a lot of people on chelation therapy.
.....it might sound stupid, but you mention that u have chronic headache, do you drink a lot of water?
.....I don't know if it is these metals but, I get so tired like no energy most opf ther day.

Not sure what you mean by
location. But yes, my doctor gave me a heavy metal protocol immediately after we got my results. My headaches are infection related, nothing that water can help.

There is no reason for
location to make a difference in heavy metal testing or treatment, but I live in New York.

I was diagnosed w/Lyme based on symptoms and only one * band w/the rest I determinant. I also tested positive for chlamydophila p., Mycoplasma, and reactivation of HHV6...I was treated with herbal Lyme tincture, 8 sessions of I.V. ultra violet blood irradiation, and NAC for the lungs.....
Then, 4 months after Lyme & Co' s treatment, I tested HIGH for lead, mercury, & aluminum. I then did 8 sessions of I.V. chelation; which I believe is truly the only effective way to grab hold of and take out of the body...
The heavy metal I.V. chelation caused severe muscle pain so I had to cease I.V treatment, and took oral HM chelate supplement by pure encapsulation. I STILL had non-stop muscle spasms.
I've since found out that between 1982(in high school), and 2014 I collected toxins including Lyme bacteria, Mycoplasma, Cp, and heavy metals...I 'collected' them VS my body detoxing because of a mthfr gene mutation.
Anyway, after all my treatments and I still had pain & fatigue, but now the only thing that's helped is supplementing w/5-mthf by Metabolic maintenance, and a supplement called 'Anxiety control', also by Metabolic maintenance. The two together, have done more than all the others combined!

vacant, maybe you should start a new thread about
your symptoms. Do you have a LLMD?

Thank you for your post. My naturopath thinks that something triggers that metal while I was at work...I know that I had flu shot and vaccine, might explain the metal...I will see with for.

I was going to add a new thread about
testing for heavy metals, but vacant beat me to it.
My question is more about
the testing. I know that others have used Doctor's data, but I was wondering which was a more reliable test, hair or urine? I was leaning towards the hair test since it covers a longer period of time than urine.
Thanks,
Kim

Second question, does the doctor have to order it? or can you order a kit yourself? Seems like hair would be more difficult if ordered by the doctor.

I don't know anything about
hair testing, sorry. But I would think the urine is more accurate.
