Testing in Long Island

Thanks for the insight. Would you be able to share exactly which tests you had done at Stonybrook?

my Western Blot was done by Stonybrook, came back CDC positive and the insurance covered it, definitely a good alternative to Igenex if you don't have the money to spare.

Never did a WB at Stonybrook but they can't be as accurate for the simple fact that they throw out bands 31 and 34 (I'm pretty sure) and don't report INDs. Those bands tend to show up later in infection but I still would want to have those reported. IGeneX gets a better separation of bands from what I hear because of many factors including using a stronger acid gel. Stonybrook is supposed to be on par with MDL yet MDL only caught one band and that band was quadruple positive through IGeneX. IGeneX isn't perfect and will miss some positives but when you take a test so inherently flawed I would only go with the best.
