Hello,
(If anyone's thrown off by my name it used to be cherrybomb, but I updated it to something that's felt more fitting lately)
So the core protocol herbs finally arrived. Woo! So excited to start trying to get better.
I'm looking for suggestion on how to get started.
I have japanese knotwood, cats claw, andrographis, and eleuthero.
I know there's other important ones but I thought I'd start low and slow to keep my herx manageable, but at the same time i want to take enough that it can start attacking these little spirochetes with full force.
(I'm picturing this battle in my mind with little toy soldiers running around going "get every last one, find the biofim, destroy, mission accomplished" Haha, if only it were that easy)
Makes me think of that Osmosis Jones cartoon show with the white blood cell police officer and his cold pill side kick. Lol what a side tracked thought from where I was going with this...
Anyways....
What are some dosing suggestions that have worked for you guys to work each one into the routine in a reasonable time frame? Is it really best to start one a time or has anyone done japanese knotwood and cats claw at once just low and slow to get them going?
Do you take days off if the herx is getting to hard to handle, or is it something we should try to manage through in knowing that's it's a good things that toxins are dying off?
Are there any blood tests my primary should do every few months to make sure the herbs aren't negatively impacting me? (I'm going to keep seeing her for general symptom/condition monitoring until the llmd appointment in dec)
I've got my heating pads, ice packs, ice rollers, empson salts, masagers, tens unit, aromatherapy, dry brush, and other detox tools ready to go and plan to take this very seriously.
Are there any other herbs to research specifically for attacking nuero lyme? I know the Japanese knotwood is a good start but maybe some of you have stumbled across other helpful tools.
Also how long into the routine did you start feeling some relief, days, weeks, months?
My heads a little woozy today so i wont be on all day, but I'll keep checking back today as I'm able to.
I so very much appreciate all your input. This community is amazing.
