Herx or med sensitivity?

I'm out of town. We were in the sun walking around at a fest (in the north - not southern sun). It wasn't constant sun - just in and out of stores & at a fest. My forehead got a little red, but my knuckles, pointy finger, chin & lips feel like they're on fire & they're bright red & tingly. I almost cried when I washed my hair because the water hitting my fingers feels like scalding water. Before they turned red, I had the raindrop pins & needles feeling.

I'm on week 6 of doxy, azythromycin, plaquenil, pulsing flagyl Fri nights & 3 Saturday meals.... plus diflucan, nystatin & herbal supplements.

Is this a herx? If it was doxy/sun related I'd think my whole face would be on fire, or my entire hand. I just want to be at home. I'm in so much pain. Oh, and detoxing has only been lemon water since we've been gone.

It could be sun sensitivity caused by the doxy.

I was on doxy July, 2014...and I drove downtown - 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back. I had put sunscreen on all sun-exposed areas.

When I got home, the backs of my hands were red...nowhere else though. I did have long sleeves on, but my face/forehead were exposed to the sun...but they were okay.

Because it was just the start of summer, I discontinued it.

Yes, the Doxycycline definitely make you sun-sensitive!

I'm on both doxy and azythromycin so maybe it's doubly bad for me. I'm very fair skinned and have had melanoma. I took sunscreen with me on our trip. I just wasn't thinking. My hands had to have gotten burned from driving.
