White Willow Extract or Boswellia?

What do you all recommend for pain- white willow bark or Boswellia extract?

What has worked for you guys?  What about nerve pain, what have you all taken for neuropathy that has decreased pain?

My curcumin supplement has boswellia in it. But, I haven't found i works for my pain.
I take it anyway, as my LLND says it works for inflammation..

I have nerve pain, along with join pain. My nerve pain gets worse when the rest of my symptoms flare, and/or when I herx.

The only thing that has helped for me is Pinella and Burbur by Nutramedix. It only takes the edge off.

Boswellia is Frankincense.

Best help for Neuro- Pain:
Helichrysum Italicum Essential Oil from Corsica, France
(Yes, the location really matters.)
It is expensive, but it works.

I've also used Frankincense, Peppermint Oils as well.
These are cheaper.

Depending on how severe the pain is, Helichrysum is my go-to.

If you are looking for pill- form:
The anti-allergens have worked really well for me : Zyrtec, Claritin 24-hr & Singular. Taking all 3.
If I omit even one of them, I am hurting.
Sometimes, I take the Celebrex as well if inflammation is really bad.

I keep Celebrex out if I can b/c I don't want it affecting my liver in accordance to using certain Buhner herbals.

For pain I have found that omitting gluten and casein from my diet really helps. Even beer will make my knees hurt. Perhaps it is the RoundUp found in thoses foods. IDK.

For some reason boswellia has really helped my seasonal allergies this year. I started taking it in Sept after several days of Claritin, and it cleared everything up. I don't need Claritin anymore - amazing because I always suffer from runny nose (like off my face) and itchy eyes every fall.

Boswellia is supposed to be an immune modulator.

White willow bark is essentially aspirin.

@ Usedtogarden - Thanks about the heads up on Helichrysum Italicum EO. Sound interesting. I have an 80 year old mother that could use some help with chronic arthritis pain.

I agree w/ rowingmom in regards to an anti-inflammatory diet.
This really helps.
Rowing-helichrysum from Corsica is a godsend- stops the pain on contact!

I forgot to mention rx Doxipen in low dosage. 25-75 mg.
I have to use it for sleep, or I don't sleep.
I only use 25mg, cannot us 75mg b/c I will start to have trouble urinating- side effect of the drug in higher doses.
I have amazing, long, uninterrupted sleep now. Sometimes 11 + hrs.
Just Heaven.
Doxipen also acts as an anti-inflammation agent.

Doxipen BONUS:
It is 400 times more anti-inflammatory than bendryl, per my doctor.

Rowingmom- for your mom's arthritis pain, Peppermint Oil is much cheaper & really cools inflammation; like an ice pack.

I use now brand Organic Peppermint Oil in 1 oz bottle.
You can buy it on amazon.

Maybe you would want to try that first.
Make sure u wash your hands afterwards, you don't want to get the oil in your eye.

I used it for my head, face & neck today & it worked really well for me.
