While diet does play an important part in our healing - we do have to have the right nutrients to feed our body - it's not what will stop you from healing so don't be too hard on yourself. Other than candida/yeast issues and any foods that you are actually allergic to, most food will be good for you. We have discovered that most of us do best on a lower carb diet though, with no convenience foods and lots of veggies.
You do need to be sure that the yogurt you are eating isn't pre-sweetened, as that means a LOT of extra sugar. Greek yogurt is best, unflavored, unsweetened. You can safely add stevia or xylitol for a sweetener and berries or vanilla extract for flavoring.
I healed a 40 yr old infection without changing my diet at all, although I was a healthy eater before I got sick, I ate a large range of foods.
