Thank you for your answers Girlie and Traveler!
Yeah I don't know why I'm doubting the test results, guess I just didn't find them clear enough with some not being postive and some of the wording they used, and want to be 100% sure before getting my hopes up that this might finaly be the answer to all my problems! But It seems like there is no doubt so I'm very happy.
Cause having Lyme is the BEST news I have gotten the last few years, as not knowing what is wrong with me has been driving me crazy and I know most of the people here can relate to that.
And yes I have read most of the "New to Lyme" thread and quite a bit on
www.lyme-symptoms.com and some other sites (which I should probably have written, but my head is a mess..) and it's A LOT of information to digest.
I was thinking of Buhner or cowdens protocol, but then I read of CHIM FLOUX AVIVA.
You can't really find much information on it other than
www.lyme-symptoms.com/LymeDiseaseInfo/Examples.of.eradicators.html and
www.lyme-symptoms.com/LymeDiseaseInfo/aboutCHIM-FLUOX.htmlI sounds too good to be true and too simple, and the website looks really poor, but I thought what's the worst that can happen? So I have actually already started taking it according to the instruction, starting FLOUX first which is supposed to detox and release toxins, but I'm very skeptical and this was just something I thought I might try first since it is supposed to target any infection and so on..I have never had a herx before so im not sure how it feels, but I'm pretty sure I have atleast felt something, like being very hot and red on the skin around my neck. And more ringing in the ears.
I think I will try it for 2 months atleast and after that probably try some of the herbal protocols.
I am also going to a new doctor this week (a GP) and in a about
a month to someone at the infection clinic in Uppsala. Hopefully someone of them has knowledge of lyme and will not dismiss my test results from infectolab, but I'm not to positive since my experience with regular doctors here in sweden is not good to say the least.. And in any case, IF they according to their tests (or my test result) think that I have lyme, they will probably want to put me on a too short dose of antibiots, and I'm pretty sure I don't want that. I don't even know if I want to use antibiotics at all.
I also did a hair mineral analysis a while ago and am still eating the vitamin supplements from that. (I am really deficient in a lot of stuff, for example: zink, magnesium and manganease (and have too much copper). And that seems to be common for people with lyme.
Worth mentioning is that I have been eating pretty clean for the last two years with mostly fish, beef and vegetables and maybe some rice, potatoes, quinoa and so on(since i am basicly intolerant to everything else at this point..)
And I do detoxing juices a few times a week and drink lemon water every day almost.
I am also thinking of doing detox baths with Epsom salts and peroxide. But I havn't found anywhere to buy peroxide atleast not here in Sweden. Is it good enough to drybrush and use the Epsom salts?
So this ended up a very messy post, and I feel like I don't really have a clear plan of action, but I will try CHIM FLOUX AVIVA for a while and try to add in some detoxing. I would like to hear your opinions on CHIM FLOUX AVIVA and the herbal protocols!
Oh and by the way, unfortunately a LLMD in Germany is probably a bit too far away, you don't know if there are any in Sweden? I guess not since I havn't been able to find any.
