I think Babesia is showing its ugly face...

I wanted to know about the fevers: they come and go. I wake up in the morning with a fever, then it goes away, comes back in the early evening, goes away at night time. Has been going on for about a month and a half. It's not a 104° fever though, but it makes me feel really sick and cold.
Does this sound like a typical Babesia symptom? This on and off fever?

My throat is sore all the time, makes me think I'm getting a cold, but it never sets through. My migraines have never been worse (3 day migraines are coming in a row).

Sounds exactly like me and I tested positive for babesia. Cryptolepis has been great for my babesia symptoms. I do herx from it, but it's worth it because I know it's working. I also had some throat issues, which my llmd attributes to chronic strep. Cryptolepis has also been known to work well for strep, and my throat issues have almost completely gone.

Oh yeah that's Babesia alright, esp that dang sore throat as I've had it. I also had post nasal drip.

Did you ever take your temperature? I used to feel feverish on and off like you but never had a temperature so just felt like it.

I'm slowly realizing the Babesia is equal if not nastier than Lyme. It's been the prevailing symptoms that come on quickly/severely (in a matter of days) when I switch meds that don't work as well or stop taking them for a day or two. I'm beginning to think I'm never going to rid myself of this but have to keep plugging on and hope the Good Lord sees fit to heal me.

I've been having pnd for sooo many years, and it got worse these last months. So it's normal to have such a quick switch in symptoms. It goes faster than Bart or Lyme. My body temp is really yoyoing.

I need to go on Artemisin again... Oh the herxing...

I hope you'll all get better fast...

I also had great results with cryptolepis. It made me feel better within a few hours!
Artemisia was also helpful.

Oh yea, babesia is equally as bad as Lyme imo.
It causes plenty of terrible symptoms just as Lyme, including the crushing fatigue.

Yes babesia has been doing the same to me. It will be low grade fevers and I can feel my body heating up. Then about an hour later I will be freezing cold and chilled. Haven't found what treatment works best yet as mepron really really throws me into a herx. Might start artemisinin SOD this week. Doc says Lyme is getting better but Babesia and Bartonella are moving in. Oh joy! But yes I will get the fevers almost daily on and off for a few weeks and then they will go for a little. I also get the massive horrible head pressure that turns into the headache where I feel like I have to squeeze my head and try to fall asleep to get rid of it. I'm sorry you're going through this! I'll pray for all of us :)
