Mibella, brain fog is caused by a number of pathogens but also by the toxins that they leave behind when they die. It can also be caused by a deficiency in your body and as a side effect to something that you may be consuming.
As many here find out as they fight these bugs is to modify eating habits, get plenty of sleep, avoid stress, detox your body, and to supplement whatever the bugs are stealing from your body.
I encourage you to get tested for vitamin and mineral deficiencies such as vitamin B, magnesium, iron, potassium, and vitamin D.
You should also get tested for EBV, citomegalovirus, endocrine abnormalities, erhlichia, as well as for peripheral vascular disease.
What natural supplements can you take for mental fog? Most of us are magnesium deficient so I would start there. Magnesium malate and magnesium citrate are good for us Lymies. A vitamin B complex with vitamin C works wonders as it has most of the B vitamins that can cause fog if you are low on them. I would also recommend anti inflammatory things like Curcumin, himalayan salt, magnesium (again), antihistamines such as Claritin, and some of the items that others have already mentioned such as Pinella, Burbur, and lemon water.
