confused about igenex process

I wanna spend the least amount of money possible here...

I'm confused about Igenex and their website is not super helpful.

Is it possible for me to order a kit (whatever that consists of) myself w/ no physician referrals and sign-offs and then take that to an appointment, get blood drawn, and send it in with the physician and blood draw sign-offs for results?

Or do I need a physician sign-off on initial test ordering form?

You can order the kit yourself.

Then you get the physician sign-off, have the blood drawn and send it with the signed-off form to IGenex via FedEx (best to have the blood drawn early in the week so IGenex gets your blood before the weekend rather than have it sit in a FedEx facility)

If you wanna keep your physician out of this (good idea btw), try to find naturopath/other to draw blood, and accept Igenex results! That's what I did! I didn't want my GP to be involved; whereas he doesn't think Lyme exists!

Although, sometimes we're surprised...as in my case...my GP asked for a copy of it...and asked me how we should proceed - and wrote out a doxy script at my request.

I was pleasantly surprised to have her support.

She continues to support me by giving me a standing order on kidney and liver enzyme tests.
