I've heard good things about fasting (maybe not as far as Lyme is concerned, but just in general). Bad things too though.
I've never really tried it, at least not with the intention of using it as a method of healing. There have been times where I've given up on eating though.
After a couple of days, I would start to get very fatigued, beyond just the normal lack of energy from not eating, and also very sore, achy. It was a very strange soreness though, it made me restless, yet, like I said, I was very fatigued at the same time. It's like something was dying off, telling me to eat, taking it out on my body.
Of course, the first inclination is to say, candida, but I never had intense cravings for food, which sort of makes me want to believe it was something else. Project's theory on it makes sense to me.
All that said, while I think there's something to it, I don't feel like it's the answer you're needing right now, man. Though, I mean, it's your health, so give it a try, if you think there's a chance it could help.
