Very interesting Revive!
Thank you.
I entered the fb group but as I am now suspecting MCAD I do not know if I am eligible for bee venom.

Revive, you are off abx! And the BVT helped a lot, eh? Good for you! How many times did you go for BVT? How many shots and how often per month? Did your LLMD did it or you went to a different place?

Simela 1,
you can enter the fb group and the group leader posted the whole technique, you do it 3x/week, I think you start with 1 sting and work your way up slowly until 10 stings. They say estimate healing time is 2-3 years. Also you have adip or worsening in symptoms around the 5--6 th month. You have herxes like you have with the antibiotics and also you have to have all times an epi pen by you, because of the allergic reaction.
Eva Sapi starts to research effects of bee venom extract , too so it might have a scientific study behind it in some time.

Simela I just plugged into several of the Facebook groups, got the necessary supplies and my mom started stinging me. But my husband saw how much better I got so he started bvt also. We are now in FL for the winter so he is stinging me. People learn to sting themselves and there are videos on the site to teach you how to do it. I sting the front of me and have done a few back stings.
Currently my husband does 5 stings, 3x week and I do 10 stings. He is working his way slowly, he herxed in the beginning a lot but I was on 3 anx when I started so my journey wasn't as bad.
They say you will also retrace things of the past to get rid of what's hiding inside. So far my herxing hasn't been as bad as anx.
It's pretty cool, the bees are little healers.

Finisului17 and Revive,
Thanks for posting this. I have been following these discussions on bee venom therapy half-interestedly for a few months now, but the sparks got the fire lit and I am now REALLY interested in actually doing this. I think the time has come for me to try this. I am somewhat holding my own with the ABX, and I feel this is the next step in my journey.
I found a local bee-keeper who is willing to sell me bees. So, now I need some information to launch out on this. I am not part of Facebook, so I am looking for some info, help, and guidance outside of that. I have watched a few of Ellie Lobel's (and others) Y-tube videos. I can buy a bee buddy. So, what's next? I think I read that certain supplements are necessary, and of course, an epipen.
Get the bee buddy, get a few bees, the supplements, an epipen, ice my back and convince my wife to sting me.
Sounds relatively simple. I plan to start out very slowly.
Thanks for any help or links.

Tooty,
Here is Ambers website, http://www.lyme-beevenom.com/
You need to take 3000 mg Vit C per day, this is very important for your adrenal glands. Start a few days before you start stinging and even sure on non sting days.
No alcohol 24 hrs before or 24 hrs after stinging.
Make sure you have liquid children benedryl, alcohol free, you would use this and see how you feel before using the epi pen.
I started out with a quart canning jar and even though I built my bee buddy I still use the jar to house my bees. You need a few reverse tweezers to catch and hold the bees.
You cannot be on a Beta Blocker when your doing bvt, it prevents the epi pen from working.
Read over the info on the website and email me for more info if need be.
