Has anyone tried marijuana as medicinal medicine to help with pain, sleep, depression, anxiety, etc. for lyme?  They use it for other chronic illnesses, I'm wondering has anyone tried it with Lyme.

There are many "kinds" of medicinal marijuana. You really should have someone very knowledgeable to help in which kinds. The musician Xiren (who has lyme) has lots of videos and he suggests Rick Simpson oil. Rick has a video on youtube but I have not watched the entire thing.

There are days when my head pain is just down and out cry material and I have thought about taking anything for it. Opiates won't even touch the pain and I have not tried hemp for my head pain.

I have tried hemp oil on my joints pre-lyme for arthritis, but I don't think I got the super good stuff or else it just didn't work. It is an expensive experiment that I don't choose to try now.

I've tried cannabis oil (just a "dot" size dose is all you need) for my lyme symptoms. It works well for me.... very much like taking a shot of NyQuil. Unfortunately, I'm currently having extreme allergic reactions to every supplement that I try right now. So, I'm taking a forced hiatus from all supplements.

I've tried CBD Oil made from hemp and I've tried CBD patches.

I think the patches are a good temporary fix if you know you're going to be doing a lot of strenuous work or running a ton of errands. I buy Mary's Elite patches and I just cut them into 1x1 inch quarters cause I think it's a complete waste to stick on the entire patch if I'm only gonna need it for like half a day or something.

Regarding the CBD Oil, it really does help with sleeping and like sknight said a little goes a long way. I've really used it sparingly though, I read someone else's review saying that the brand I was using had some toxins/traces of metals in it because it used scrap or waste hemp or however he phrased it.

Cannabis in any form can help with certain head issues. I do notice that depending on the strain of cannabis it could make your joints/muscles etc. more sensitive so not a good idea for that. Experimenting is probably your best option to see what works (and doesn't) for you.

Gummo ~ Just to clarify, the cannabis oil that I use is from medical marijuana, not CBD oil from hemp. There is a difference, for those who didn't know.

Yeah I vape it to sleep or relive symptoms and almost on cannabis oil for two weeks now , real cannabis oil not some fake thing online . Done a bunch of research that cannabis oil can heal Lyme and cod infections candida and everything just like all the stories of t curing cancer

Buhner's new book has recommended cannabis oil for certain symptoms of lyme (seizures, epilepsy). See Chapter Eight - The Core Protocol and Extended Repertory. He lists Cannabinoid oil for lyme arthritis either topically or internally.

I checked out the price and the CBD oil (which I would be interested in because of my knees) is quite expensive. Well, to me 1 oz/200mg cbd costs $50. Buhner says variable dosing and does not give any reference where to start in dosing. I will wait on this for further confirmation of its helping with lyme.

I really wish I lived in a state where it was legal when I was having seizures!! Those are scary!!

An MD here in Canada who was treating Lyme patients suggested cbd oil to me. He said Eva Sapi did some research on it and found it helped kill spirochetes. He recommended it but the low THC oil.

However CBD oil has no THC in it and it is totally legal in any state and you can purchase it online.
You do not get high because there is no THC in it.

They are studying cannabidiol at New Haven university right now (there is an article but the title is misleading , the author just highlighted the lactoferrin effects), but the title states Cannabidiol is also being tested. Also i listened in to an interview by Sapi posted earlier here and she mentioned cannabidiol. So we'll have more results soon.

I've also read about people who ordered CBD oil and had everything they own confiscated until they proved that it wasn't the "evil stuff". Because I've been the one sick all my life, I didn't ever want to risk everything we have for the chance of getting help. I believe very much in it's healing power though.
