Please find another doctor ASAP, or go to your ER for treatment. Perhaps a walk-in clinic may also be helpful. You need not tell them about
the visit to the first doctor.
Mainstreams doctors are clueless when it comes to Lyme Disease, and they obviously fail to realize how deadly serious it really is. You do not wait around and take on a casual, wait-and-see approach. You do not wait for test results to come back. You treat prophylactically right away, and that means with a minimum of four weeks of either tetracycline or doxycycline.
The longer these diseases are allowed to remain in your system untreated or improperly treated, the more damage they are doing by the minute. With each day that passes with absent or improper treatment, you stand more and more of a chance of the disease causing permanent damage on a systemic level.
I do not know of any other bite that presents with a bull's eye rash and that expands in the same manner a tick bite does.
Your doctor does not seem to be too concerned about
the fact that you were bitten by a tick, and could have a deadly infectious disease that adversely affects both your brain and your body; not to mention is both congenital and sexually transmitted.
Plus the fact that ticks are not transmitting solely Lyme anymore - they are transmitting multiple infections, all of which can prove to be deadly if not diagnosed and treated in a proper and timely manner. If a tick bite is not treated with the proper medication in a timely manner, then not only does the Lyme proliferate inside the body, but so do the other diseases, and all in a very fastidious manner. They live off of each other and thrive off of each other.
I hope you have the mental wherewithal to seek out a second opinion. Good luck.
