I just read online - I wonder if Lyme Disease put a strain on their relationship....how could it not?

I think it's his fourth marriage.....just sayin'

I would bet anything lyme was involved. Its such a stressful disease for everyone...not just the patient.

I hate to hear this...its not going to be easy for Yolanda being sick...

I felt so sad for her when I read this news. The last thing a sick person needs is to go through a divorce and lose the partner they lean on for support. I think his grueling schedule and many commitments played a part. He was always travelling, how on earth can you be there for your sick partner when you are constantly flying?

At the end of the day it's just another bad thing she has to deal with along with her illness. Plus she wasn't improving since her relapse. I'm sure it was trying on David too.

Very sad. I can't imagine going through lyme and the stress of an unhappy marriage or divorce.

I watch RHO Beverly Hills and when I saw David tell Yolanda's daughter "he didn't sign up for this" referring to her illness I knew he wouldn't stay. I am sure we can all relate to the troubles caused when a partner suddenly isn't the person they used to be.

My heart breaks for her when she talks about not being able to think clearly, the weakness in her legs, not wanting to go out etc. That was me a few years ago, and the hardest part is people don't believe we are sick. They are like "you are still sick?" what is it, why aren't you all better by now. Even she, Yolanda a well respected woman isn't believed fully.

She is a beacon of hope for me as she exposes how people with lyme are treated. Maybe she will help us find answers. On the show last night she appeared without makeup looking like her sick self and was totally criticized for it. People are so stupid sometimes.

That's a shame he didn't take the "for better or worse" vow seriously. I wonder what he'd do it he got it too. She may be better off without him if he wasn't going to help her. I hope any women who take an interest in him will see how many divorces he has had and think twice about hooking up with him. Hopefully she has family and friends that can help her through it.

The show is my guilty pleasure. I haven't watched last night's episode yet but I've seen that one of the story lines will be that Yolanda goes after some of the other women for questioning if she truly has Lyme.

This season will be good for Lyme awareness. Kudo's to Yolanda for making the brave choice to be a vocal advocate for Lyme.

I think if a partner is against you or not supporting you properly maybe it is best to do it by yourself and not worry to please your partner. I would not be surprised if she would progress more în healing by herself. She is very brave for making everything public. Some of the lady members în this forum got rid of their partner and then fought the fight to get better and healed. Katrina Makris the same. That raises them question if some partners are not detrimental for healing and especially the ladies would be better without them. Just an (informed! !!) Opinion.

One never really knows what is going on in someone else's relationship unless you are part of it.

In my case, my now ex-husband was bringing me down and causing me so much stress that I could not start healing until he moved out. Obviously he was not supportive, understanding, etc. He could not accept the fact that I was sick. Yet he didn't want a divorce, I did.

When a person is sick I believe they must address all the emotional aspects of their lives as that alone could prevent healing. I know that's not possible in all cases. Sometimes a person is better being alone than living in a stressful situation.

I did watch last night. We have all been there. She made such a tremendous effort to attend and her so called friends commented about her appearance. The show should be renamed RHBH-Real Housewives of Beverly Hillbillies! We all need friends that are more interested in LGBT and animal issues. These causes are important but I'd place Lyme up there too.

Dr.J in DC calls it the marriage wrecker. Yolanda if you are a member I'd love 2 hear from you. E-mail me. Hang in there this forum will provide much more support than an old rich lady who carries a little rat dog around as an accessory. No wonder the dog's fur fell out -it was due to stress!

It really broke my heart watching that episode. Then the nerve of some criticizing her for not wearing makeup. I wish they could walk in her shoes for a day. I am no longer a Lisa Vanderpump fan. I pray something works for Yolanda soon. She is trying so hard to find a cure.

Very true Denise! There are always two sides to each story and no one except the two people involved know exactly what's happening. I hope yolanda still finds the strength to fight on now that she is without a partner. Maybe she is better off without him?

It ain't easy living with it or it within...the strain takes its toll.

Of course if your bank acct is plentiful, like with these "stars," it makes it a hellavalotta easier than the stress other mere mortals must contend with. Yes, sympathy for them, but less wry for them with their guilded roof above & med costs not prohibitive.
