First of all, I wanted to be sure that I wished everyone here a Merry Christmas!! It may not be what you want it to be this year, but we will prevail and have better ones to come! I do hope you are surrounded by love and loved ones.
Next, I need to ask not only for patience, but help. The Mods are all going to be celebrating with loved ones these next few days as well, and we will be short handed from time to time. So if you are posting and asking questions or for help, please be patient - we are doing our best to keep the board covered, but we are volunteers and our families need our attention as well.
And, if you are reading this, you can help out too!!!
It doesn't take much to tell a new member "Welcome! Please read the "New to Lyme?" thread. Others will be along soon to help answer your questions!" even if you have no clue as to how to best help the person.
Even if they aren't new, it's easy enough to say hi and to type a few words of comfort just to let them know that they have been 'heard'.
So if we all pitch in, then no one feels left out and we can all enjoy this wonderful time.
