Does anyone know if there are specific restrictions for taking cryptolepis? With or without food? Avoid certain foods? A certain amount of time away from abx and/or other herbs?

I am up to 20 drops twice a day and I definitely feel it working. I read on one site that you should avoid putting it in acidic liquids, but then I read on another site that putting it in tomato juice masks the bitter taste and smell.

I have been putting it in a small glass of Trop50 orange juice or sugar-free iced tea. I refuse to drink it in water, the way I can with Burbur and Pinella.

I'm taking it and there are no particular instructions on my bottle nor do I remember anything (not that THAT means anything, ha) specific .

I honestly can't understand all the complaints about the taste, though. I've definitely paid $$ for shots of booze that tasted WAY worse than this stuff. It actually kind of reminds me of peppermint schnapps, which reminds me of going to Packer games back when I did that kind of thing. So I kind of like it.

lol i agree thanks. like i said it is def working so if it aint broke dont fix it. i take it you are from wisconsin. i order it from montana farmacy and the smell and taste is nasty, but i dont care if it resembles cow manure - as long as it does the trick

I was up to a whole dropper full 3x's a day and did that for one month and then stopped. I just mixed it in with all my other herbs in a glass, swirled in some water and down the hatch. It is less than a shot and quick, easy and over with.

I was taking my tinctures in some Pomegranate juice....until I stopped all treatment.

Now I'm putting them in water....I think I will start buying pomegranate juice again...it tastes a bit better...and Stephen Buhner recommends it.
(It is expensive, though)

I try to take mine before meals.
