Hi everyone,
I am currently detoxing by drinking lemon water, doing epsom salt baths and dry brushing (when I remember). I also intend on starting to take activated charcoal, any experiences with that?
I want to increase my detox, but cannot afford to buy detox herbs like Burbur, for example. I would appreciate any suggestions you have for detoxing! Keep strong fellow lymies! We will get there!

I like Apple Cider Vinegar. But Bragg's is my favorite label, because it is organic.
Here are some other detox methods:

I take activated charcoal...it needs to be taken two (some say three) hours away from any meds, supplements, and food.
I find taking it just before bed works for me.

I started activated charcoal when I started the Buhner protocols and regret that I didn't start it sooner.
I am beyond hooked on dry skin brushing and will do it for the rest of my life. I find it invigorating and relaxing at the same time. The same applies for the short, cold rinse I do at the end of my shower (explanation why that works in the link PeteZa provided ;)
Another detox method I love is Alka Seltzer Gold (must be that version and you usually have to buy it online - Amazon sells it).
I took it for herxes when on abx/Cowden but bumped up to twice daily in the early days of Buhner. I haven't really needed it anymore but it was a nice thing to have in my arsenal and it's not that expensive.
I did/do a bunch of other things that are on the link PeteZa provided but they were more long-term types of stuff like supplements that boost glutathione, methyl-B's, etc.

MM - I'm no longer taking charcoal but, when I did, I took 2 caps Nature's Way brand with at least 6 oz. of water if I got up to use the bathroom at night.
The bottle recommends 3 hrs. spacing from basically everything and the middle of the night is the only time I'm not taking *some*thing every 3 hrs. lol

Uncomfortable but colon hydrotherapy ( or just enemas at home ) are really helpful. A lot of good studies show how much it helps detox liver, etc.

Thanks for all the information, I'll probably try charcoal this week. Also, have any of you tried apple cider vinegar?

I'm using it now, but for other reasons. I'm having some intestinal issues and it's a good way for me to get back to base line. My intestines were hit very hard by these infections.
