Hang in there, Emotional! And if your doc isn't taking care of these issues for you, maybe it's time to find one that will?
You should know that Bartonella also can cause depression and anxiety - or just make it worse.
I too suffered horribly with bouts of depression and anxiety, sometimes it was very severe. I encourage you to use those pharmaceuticals for depression and anxiety while you are in treatment so that your body can concentrate on healing rather than figuring out a way to get you back to baseline on depression and anxiety.
Do be sure you are detoxing lots and lots!! Inflammation can be the root cause of depression for a lot of people (new studies showing this) and we know that the toxins produced by dying Lyme bacteria can cause an increase in any and all symptoms.

I know some members here have very, very little physical pain, and some don't have any - but they have other symptoms of Lyme and need treatments.
And you must have just missed the conversations we have on here about
depression and anxiety. I know I talk about
it fairly frequently, especially when it gets severe for someone. I did a forum search for those posts that talked about
both depression and anxiety - there will be a bunch more if you only search for one of those at a time:

Hang in there! You can come here for support and to vent if you need to. Things will get better.
