Looking for LL eye doctor in NC.

I'm in the Raleigh, NC area. I'm hoping some one might know of a LL ophthalmologist in NC. I've been diagnosed with bartonella, and probably still have lyme from years ago. I've had eye issues for a long time now. Been to many ophthalmologists, and specialists, but am told it's "only" floaters and to deal with it. This is so much more than floaters, I tell them that, but they just don't "get it". This has gotten much worse since I got infected with bart last July. Most days I can barely see clearly, like I have clouds in my eyes. Looking at the TV and computer is almost impossible. Unfortunately my LLMD wasn't able to refer me to a LL ophthalmologist. I hoping someone here might know of one. Thank you!!

Yes, I have cloudy, blurry spots (as well as black floaters) that move around, but mine stay in my field of vision all the time. If I keep my eyes absolutely still I can clear my vision somewhat, but as soon as I move my eyes my vision clouds up again. It's getting worse as time goes on. I figure at some point I won't be able to see at all...depressing...

That's scary, and I would recommend that you address it asap.

I know of a Lyme friendly D.O. in Boone, NC; she's very good as well, but she is not LL, just, I repeat, Lyme Friendly. She openly acknowledges Chronic Lyme disease. I think she might be able to help you.

The next time you see an opthalmologist, I would recommend that you not mention Lyme Disease, unless you're seeing her.
