OMG. Yet more new symptoms. I have been on the Cowden protocol for about two months and tolerating it pretty well. The other day, I started getting some pain on my right hand, around the veins leading up to my thumb. I have started taking P5P for my CBS gene mutation, and thought that was it, so stopped it. Then two days ago, I started getting sensitivity on my left thigh, so sensitive that it was hard to touch it. If I pushed deeply, it hurt even more. This is not a herx, but putting some arnica on it seemed to help a bit. I am not sure if I should be happy about this because it is showing that toxins are "leaving" my body or if there is something else going on. I actually think that it may be the metals being activated. I recently stopped the oral chelation and IV chelation, but will be starting oral again tomorrow. It is amazing how much leeway I give this Lyme; I just attribute it to that. I am either in total organ failure or Lyme is once again showing me who is the boss! Off to dry brush, if I can and to take a hot bath with Epsom Salts. Actually, the Epsom Salts are contraindicated for someone with the CBS gene mutation, but I am going to ignore that for today and pretend I didn't know that.
